PHRANC members have the opportunity every year to compete for the honor of being designated a Certified Rehabilitation Specialist, or even a Master Rehabilitation Specialist. Either designation comes with a framed certificate and the recognition by this association that you are among the best in the bus. That's why many PHRANC members work years to successfully complete the exam, which measures your accumulated knowledge of 10 subject modules: (1) Codes and Standards, (2) Property Inspections, (3) Work Write-ups, (4) Cost Estimating, (5) Project Management, (6) Plumbing, (7) Heating and Air Conditioning, (8) Electrical, (9) Hazmat Mitigation, and (10) Building Structure & Science. Candidates for certification may take the entire 10-module exam or retest on remaining modules. For more information about the exam go to: Being a member of PHRANC and being current on your dues are the only eligibility requirements for taking the full exam. TRACK 1 DAYS 1 AND 2 HOUSING INSPECTION |
On-Site Field Inspection Training This training will be an on-site training where we will be investigating a house for deficiencies as related to standards for various programs. It will be a comprehensive examination of all the systems within and around the structure to develop a scope of work. This training will provide a standard systematic approach to what to inspect, how to inspect, what order to inspect, and note taking on deficiencies found. How to take notes, what kind of checklist to use, and how to take pictures will be covered. Wednesday and Thursday will have four (4) sessions for different attendees. Friday morning, we will go over the scope of work created for this house with everyone that has taken one of the on-site sessions. There will be four (4) different training sessions for this class, with only seven (7) attendees allowed in each class. You will be able to select the date and time of your desired option on the registration page. Once a class fills with seven (7) people, that class will be closed. Register as soon as you can. |
